£150M savings plan announced as energy bills climb £209

Households could save over £150 million each year on everyday items due to new measures addressing economic pressures from the Middle East conflict. Rachel Reeves will present a support package in the Commons this Thursday, which includes import tariff reductions. However, no immediate aid for higher energy bills is expected, as the price cap will rise by £209.
