1.25 million young people face joblessness risk
If immediate measures are not implemented, a sixth of the UK's youth population could find themselves outside of education, employment, or training. Alan Milburn, a former government official, issued a report stating that the existing frameworks for education, healthcare, and social welfare are now unsuitable for their intended roles. By the year 2031, the count of jobless individuals between the ages of 16 and 24 is projected to potentially reach 1.25 million.
