1,000 Disney workers could lose their jobs

Many employees may face job losses as Disney plans to reduce its total employee count. The business expects to dismiss up to 1,000 staff in coming months, after Josh D’Amaro started as chief executive on March 18. Marketing staff are likely to see many cuts; Disney also reduced around 7,000 roles in 2023.
