Schools let children arrive late for England game

Some primary schools are permitting pupils to have a later start on Monday, following England's World Cup match against Mexico, which begins at 1am BST. England manager Thomas Tuchel urged parents to let children watch the game, saying they could "write an excuse for school". However, politicians like Sir Keir Starmer and Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson said children should still be in school.
