BP chairman out, board faces shareholder anger
BP's board is facing a tough time from shareholders after they decided to remove their chairman, causing a leadership shakeup. The board ousted the chairman, Manifold, this week because of "unacceptable issues" regarding his conduct and corporate governance. This follows a shareholder backlash at their annual meeting last month, with Dame Amanda Blanc now under pressure.
