Man Utd plan new 100,000-seat stadium near Old Trafford

Manchester United has announced the proposed site for its new 100,000-seater stadium, located about 350 metres north-west of their current ground. The new "New Trafford" will be the UK's biggest stadium, operating throughout the year as a centre for sports and entertainment. Trafford Council is set to approve the plan on July 20, followed by an eight-week public consultation period.
