X Blocks Grok AI from Creating Sexualized Images of People
Elon Musk's X has implemented measures to prevent its Grok AI from generating sexualized images of real people, including deepfakes. This decision follows public outcry and government scrutiny, including an investigation by UK media regulator Ofcom. The tool had been used to create images of women and children in revealing clothing. X will now geoblock the ability to generate such images in jurisdictions where it is illegal and limit image editing to paid users.
