Doctors could be sued for AI tool mistakes

If AI tools make mistakes in the NHS, patients could sue doctors and the health service for harm. A new report from the Medical Protection Society warns medics could be liable for errors made by the technology. The Society wants the law updated, as AI is now used for many tasks, including checking X-rays and scans.
