Driver jailed six years in fatal crash case.
Veselin Dudenski, 39, was jailed for six years at Lincoln Crown Court after his delivery van collided head-on with a car containing seven-year-old Elsie Gascoigne on January 3, 2025. The professional driver attempted to overtake on a road with a hidden dip in Lincolnshire, failing to observe warning signs. Elsie died the following day from a broken neck while her father suffered permanent injuries. Dudenski, who was not speeding or intoxicated, received an eight-year driving ban and faces automatic deportation as a foreign national.
