Metropolitan line trains stop for track repairs
Metropolitan line trains are not running between Baker Street and Aldgate throughout this week after a track defect was identified at Baker Street. Engineers are carrying out repairs involving specialised components, with normal service scheduled to restart on Sunday, 9 November. Transport for London recommends travellers use Circle or Hammersmith & City lines to reach central London stations such as Liverpool Street, King's Cross, and Euston Square during the disruption.
