Why test healthy adults?

Testing adults without memory problems is a new and exciting approach. Traditionally, Alzheimer's trials focused on people already showing symptoms. This study hopes to find out if blocking the disease before it takes hold is possible, potentially preventing the devastating effects of dementia altogether.
