Why is my petrol so expensive?
The price you pay at the pump is soaring because the global cost of crude oil has shot up. This is mainly due to the conflict in Iran disrupting supplies and making oil more expensive for everyone. Fuel retailers then pass these higher wholesale costs onto you, the driver.
