UK petrol prices exceed 160p, highest since Iran war began February 28

UK petrol prices have reached their highest point since the Iran war started on February 28, with the average cost now over 160p per litre. The price increase is largely due to the conflict disrupting oil supplies and causing wholesale oil prices to climb. Filling a family diesel car now costs about £100 again, a price not seen since early June.
