Why help farmers now?

Farming is a vital industry for the UK, providing much of our food. Droughts pose a significant threat to food security and farmers' livelihoods. This funding is a direct response to help them cope with current water shortages, protect their businesses, and ensure a more resilient food supply for the country in the long term.
