Why do royals tour?
Royal tours, like this trip to the Caribbean, serve several purposes. They strengthen diplomatic ties between the UK and other nations, promote British interests, and support charitable causes. For the King, it's also an opportunity to meet people and represent the UK on the world stage, reinforcing the monarchy's role.
