Why do games unlock at different times?
Game developers often use a single global release time, but this means it arrives at different local times around the world. For example, a 10am UTC release on a Tuesday would be Tuesday evening in New Zealand, but still Tuesday morning in the UK, and even Monday evening in parts of the Americas. This staggered release can create excitement and allow for server load management.
