Why are wrecks dangerous?

Sunken ships, especially those from wartime, can pose several risks. They might contain unexploded ordnance or hazardous materials, as some of these German warships still hold weapons. Additionally, their presence, particularly in low water conditions, can obstruct navigation and endanger modern river traffic, requiring careful management and potential removal.
