Who was the Queen Mother?
The Queen Mother was Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, mother of Queen Elizabeth II and grandmother to King Charles III. She was a much-loved figure who continued to be active in public life well into old age. Her tradition of visiting the Castle of Mey in August is now continued by her grandson, King Charles.
