Who owns Polestar?
Polestar started as Volvo's performance division, much like AMG for Mercedes. Volvo Cars, in turn, is owned by the Chinese multinational automotive company Geely. Polestar has since become a standalone brand focusing on electric performance cars, but maintains close ties and shared technology with Volvo, as seen in the Polestar 4.
