Who are the CMA?

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is the UK's main competition and consumer protection body. They investigate mergers, market practices, and consumer issues to ensure businesses operate fairly and consumers get a good deal. They're the ones probing Virgin Atlantic and Trainline here.
