Explained in plain English

What is drip pricing?

Drip pricing is when companies show you an initial low price, but then add mandatory extra charges as you go through the checkout process. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) wants businesses to show the full, final price upfront, so you know exactly what you'll pay from the start.
