What's a Test match?

Test cricket is the longest form of the sport, played over five days between two teams of 11 players. Each team bats twice, trying to score more runs than the opposition. The aim is to win by either scoring more runs or by getting all the opposition's batsmen out twice. Our story is about day one of a Test match.
