Smith and Cox half-centuries take England to 248-9 against Pakistan

England finished day one of the second Test at Lord's on 248-9, thanks to half-centuries from Jamie Smith and Jordan Cox. Muhammad Abbas took four wickets for Pakistan, who also got three from Mohammad Ali, after play was delayed and then shortened by poor weather. Smith and Cox shared a crucial 67-run stand for the sixth wicket.
