What is VAR?
VAR, or Video Assistant Referee, is a system used in football to help the referee make correct decisions. It involves officials reviewing incidents on video replays. In this case, VAR failed to spot an offside player's probable impact, leading to a goal being wrongly awarded. It's meant to reduce clear and obvious errors.
