What is Ulez?

Ulez stands for Ultra Low Emission Zone. It is an area in London where vehicles that do not meet specific emissions standards have to pay a daily charge. The aim is to improve air quality by discouraging the use of older, more polluting vehicles, which is directly linked to the lung capacity improvements seen in the story.
