Explained in plain English

What is the UNCRC?

The UNCRC is the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, an international treaty outlining the human rights of children. It defines a child as anyone under 18. Saudi Arabia ratified it in 1996, but its reported execution of Youssef al-Manasif, arrested as a minor, would breach its commitments.
