Rights groups say Saudi Arabia is preparing to execute Youssef al-Manasif, who was arrested in 2017 over attending Shia protests and funerals when he was aged 15 to 17. The charity Reprieve says he was tortured into a false confession and the supreme court has reportedly upheld his death sentence. Saudi Arabia executed a record 356 people last year, mostly foreigners convicted of drug crimes.
