What is shareholder injection?

Shareholders had to inject another £42m into Jaja Finance. This means the owners of the company put more of their own money in, rather than the company earning enough to cover its costs. It's often done to keep a business afloat or to fund growth when it's not yet profitable, as Jaja is expanding.
