What is kidney cancer?

Kidney cancer is a disease where cells in the kidney grow out of control, forming a tumour. It can affect how the kidneys filter waste from the blood and, if untreated, can spread to other parts of the body. Tim Curry's previous battle with kidney cancer was mentioned as a contributing factor to his death.
