How does a stroke affect health?

A stroke occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain is interrupted, either by a blockage or a burst blood vessel. This can cause brain cells to die, leading to long-term disability or death. Tim Curry had previously experienced a stroke, which was noted as a factor in his passing.
