What is FireSat?
FireSat is a new satellite programme, backed by Google, designed to spot wildfires across the globe. Unlike existing systems, it aims to detect even small fires, which can often be missed. These satellites will provide crucial data to fire agencies in countries like the US, Australia, and across Europe, helping them respond more quickly and effectively to outbreaks.
