Google-backed satellites launch to detect small wildfires globally
Three new satellites, part of the Google-backed FireSat program, have launched to help detect wildfires, including small ones missed by other systems. These satellites, designed by Muon Space, will start providing data to fire agencies in the US, Australia, and Europe by the end of the year after a three-month testing period.
