What is carbon dioxide?

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colourless, odourless gas naturally present in our atmosphere. It's also released when we burn fossil fuels like petrol or diesel, which is why the push for electric vehicles (EVs) is so important. Too much CO2 traps heat, contributing to climate change, so reducing emissions from cars is a key part of reaching Net Zero goals.
