Explained in plain English
Arbitration is a way to sort out disagreements outside of court. Instead of a judge or jury, an independent person called an arbitrator listens to both sides and makes a decision. Amazon says it's quicker and more efficient than going to court, but it does mean you won't have a judge or jury involved in your dispute.
