What is an R-rating?

In the UK, films are rated by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). An R-rating, or 'Restricted' in the States, typically means under-17s need an adult. This often limits a film's audience, making The Odyssey's box office success even more impressive given its adult themes and content.
