Explained in plain English

What is 'AI slop'?

'AI slop' is a new, informal term for content that's been generated by artificial intelligence, often without much human oversight, and is perceived as low quality or unhelpful. LinkedIn users are clearly finding a lot of it, given over a million clicks on their new 'Seems like AI slop' button since July.
