What is a 'winger'?

A winger is an attacking player who operates primarily on the flanks of the pitch. Their main role is to run with the ball, beat defenders, and deliver crosses into the box for teammates, or cut inside to shoot themselves. Barcola, as a direct attacking winger, would be expected to provide pace, skill, and goal threat for Liverpool.
