What is a valley?
A valley is a low area of land between hills or mountains, often with a river or stream flowing through it. The Rhondda valley is a classic example, known for its steep sides. These geographical features can unfortunately funnel winds, making wildfires spread faster and more intensely, posing unique challenges for emergency services.
