Four 14-year-old boys arrested over Rhondda valley wildfire

Four teenage boys face arrest on suspicion of arson, following a substantial wildfire that swept through a Rhondda valley on Thursday. Emergency services were called to Porth that evening, with families evacuated as flames moved from Pleasant Heights to Pontygwaith. Detective Inspector Steve Jones stated that intentionally igniting fires constitutes a criminal offence, endangering both communities and wildlife.
