What is a red panda?

Bruce the red panda is an endangered mammal native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. Despite their name, they are not closely related to giant pandas. They are known for their distinctive reddish-brown fur, long bushy tails, and a diet primarily consisting of bamboo, though they also eat fruits, acorns, roots, and eggs.
