What is A/B testing?
A/B testing is a common way companies compare two versions of something, like a website feature or an AI's behaviour, to see which performs better. Half the users get version A, the other half get version B, and their reactions are measured. In this story, Anthropic is using it to test how users respond to changes in Claude AI's 'effort' settings.
