What are powered paragliders?
Powered paragliders, or paramotors, are essentially parachutes with a motor and propeller strapped to a pilot's back. They offer a simple, quiet, and low-flying way to travel, making them harder to spot than traditional aircraft. The Ministry of Defence is trialling them for British troops to fly into hostile areas.
