What are human rights abuses?

Human rights abuses are actions that violate the basic rights and freedoms that all people are entitled to, regardless of where they live. The UK condemned Myanmar's military for actions like airstrikes causing civilian deaths and forced conscription. These are considered serious abuses because they harm and displace large numbers of innocent people.
