What are 'hostile policies'?

North Korea often refers to US actions as 'hostile policies'. This typically includes US military exercises with South Korea, economic sanctions, and diplomatic pressure. Pyongyang interprets these actions as attempts to undermine its regime and force it to change its domestic and foreign policies, including giving up its nuclear programme.
