How do police track stolen goods?

Police will be looking for the branded GXO trailers and the large volume of Guinness. They'll check CCTV, port exits, and may issue alerts to other forces and even international customs. Tracking such a specific and bulky item is challenging but not impossible, especially if it's sold in large batches.
