How do interceptors work?

Interceptors are defensive weapons designed to shoot down incoming threats like drones or missiles. Ukraine is testing four different types to combat Russia's Shahed drones. These systems typically use radar to detect targets and then launch missiles or fire guns to destroy them before they reach their intended destination.
