Explained in plain English

How do hotels check for bedbugs?

Hotels often use trained sniffer dogs, which are very effective at detecting bedbugs even in small numbers. Staff also conduct visual inspections, looking for tiny blood spots or discarded exoskeletons on mattresses, headboards, and furniture. Some hotels employ pest control experts for regular checks, especially after a suspected infestation, much like Qantas had to deep-clean their Dreamliner.
