Yvette Cooper wrote column despite court case warning

A criminal case against six activists faced possible unfair influence from a newspaper piece. Yvette Cooper, the home secretary at the time, wrote the column supporting Palestine Action's ban, despite prosecutors' advice it could affect the trial. Last week, four defendants were found guilty after a second trial for a 2024 factory raid.
