YouTube to use AI for personalised video recommendations next month

YouTube is launching a new feature called custom feeds, letting users describe desired videos in their own words. Users type requests into a prompt box, and Google's Gemini AI model then creates a personalised feed. These custom feeds will appear at the top of the YouTube homepage and will roll out next month on web and mobile.
