Your next medicine could come from AI

Eric Kauderer-Abrams, the firm's head of life sciences, confirmed the project on Thursday to test treatments in physical settings. Anthropic, the artificial intelligence startup, wants its Claude software to command robotic laboratory equipment with minimal human help. Bosses say the work will stop short of clinical trials to avoid competing directly with established drug companies.
